Mind at Ease

Meditation Instruction and Coaching

Relaxed. Awake. Undistracted.

Through the practice of calm abiding meditation, we come to experience the present moment with calm clarity and an open, non-grasping quality of awareness. Calm abiding meditation is the foundation of mindfulness and the doorway to deeper insight into our own nature and our relationship with the world around us.

I enjoy guiding meditation with clear, practical language that emphasizes resting in our somatic sense experience to harmonize body, breath and mind.

FREE Online Meditation CLASS May 7th

An intimate, live and interactive webinar introducing the foundational practice of calm abiding meditation. Perfect for beginners, even more experienced meditators will find much to enjoy and explore.

Ian’s intellectual curiosity, compassion, and commitment to meditation make him an ideal guide for anyone wishing to begin or deepen a practice. I feel fortunate to have such a skilled and patient teacher.
— Rob Mitchell
I learned more about meditation in Ian’s sittings than from years of prior reading and experimentation. When you find an effective teacher you know it because everything suddenly clicks and progress is evident.
— Brandy Davis
Ian is great at creating a warm and supportive environment that has allowed me to learn the basics of meditation and then explore deeper questions about my life and existence. Ian’s approach always makes it fun and interesting.
