In this live webinar, we will explore the Why, What and How of meditation. The class will include short carefully guided meditations as well as the opportunity for questions and answers. I will introduce the practice of calm abiding meditation, known as shamata in the Buddhist tradition. Calm abiding meditation is the necessary foundation for all styles and methods of meditation.

Follow-on Six Week Guided Meditation Series May 9th through June 13th

For six weeks, we will meet every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 6:30 to 7:15am. 

The webinar is the prerequisite for my six-week Foundations of Meditation series. Each Tuesday and Thursday morning we will meet for guided meditation. A great way to start the day and to begin to establish a regular meditation practice.

All classes will be streamed using the Zoom platform, either via your computer browser or using the Zoom mobile app for your smartphone or tablet. All classes will be recorded and made available for later viewing through Zoom.
